Occupational Health and Safety Act 2000 No. 40

An Act to secure the health, safety and welfare of persons at work; to repeal the Occupational Health and Safety Act 1983; and for other purposes.

Administered by the Minister for Mineral Resources so far as it relates to mines within the meaning of the Mines Inspection Act 1901 and a place of work to which the Coal Mine Health and Safety Act 2002 applies (remainder administered by the Minister for Commerce).
