Welcome to the NSW DPI Retired Officers website.

Generally known as the “Old Aggies” the main aims are to continue the friendship and camaraderie developed amongst officers of the NSW Department of Primary Industries, often over many years of employment with the Department.

In achieving its aims, the group organises luncheons in Sydney (May, August and December) as well as in the country, currently at Orange, Alstonville, Wagga Wagga, Laurieton and Gosford.

In addition a newsletter is sent to all members three times a year containing important information about members or items written by them, describing either their time in the Department or since leaving as the case may be.

Membership is open to anyone who has worked for the Department or who may be invited by the Committee to join.

The joining fee is a very modest $5.00 for 1 year, and free membership subscription is offered to those over 75 years of age. This fee has not changed since 1982.
