The October 2008 edition of Agriculture Today is now available

Next edition

The November 2008 edition, to publish in The Land on October 30, will contain features on crops and grains, livestock, resource management and invasive pest species.

Agriculture Today (often referred to as 'Ag Today') is a NSW Department of Primary Industries newspaper. It carries news and features on research, advisory and management issues in agriculture and natural resources in NSW. It also contains information on services, courses, upcoming events, and products.

Eleven editions are published each year, available as an insert in The Land newspaper on the last Thursday of each month (except December).

Recent issues

October 2008
Contains features on water management, summer planting of crops and grains, and fruit.
September 2008
Contains features on vegetables & intensive cropping (greenhouses), plant health & biosecurity, and kangaroos.
August 2008
Contains features on sheep including prime lambs, careers & training and weeds.
July 2008
Contains features on beef, urban agriculture, and salinity and catchment health.
June 2008
Contains features on sheep & wool, fodder, energy & resources, and emergency animal disease preparedness & biosecurity.
May 2008
Contains features on farming systems, organics and livestock
April 2008
Contains features on pastures, climate change and goats.
