Forests NSW has relocated its metropolitan operations to West Pennant Hills, within the leafy boundaries of Cumberland State Forest.

Chief executive, Nick Roberts, said that the move had been in train for the past two years, with operational support staff recently completing the move to refurbished offices.

“With the bulk of Forest NSW staff spread across the state, it made business sense for all of our small corporate support group to be in the one Sydney location,” Nick said.

“Community programs, commercial services, computer and application support staff and others are now on site, together with forest researchers and the team that run the public face of Cumberland State Forest.”

Forests NSW nursery managers and library have also been located in the regrowth forest for many years.

“We hope this new location gives us an improved interface with the community and our business partners,” Nick said. “It is fantastic to have our headquarters within a State forest, as only few forest managers around the world do.”

Forests NSW Sydney office is located at 95 Castle Hill Road, West Pennant Hills Ph: (02) 9872 0111.
