Battling it out in Awaba State Forest

From the Spring/Summer 2009 edition of Bush Telegraph Magazine.

Located just five minutes from Toronto and just off the F3 freeway,  Paintball Petes Pty Ltd has been operating in Awaba State Forest since 2002.  Paintball Petes caters for corporate, social and work groups, as well as  anyone looking to have fun.

Paintball is fast and hands-on. A combination of a tag and a hide and  seek combat game, with the most common game format being to paint the  opposition whilst trying to capture the flag. Paintball is played at a social  and competitive sport level all around the world.

The recent site inspection of Paintball Petes gave Forests NSW staff  valuable insight into how the game fields are constructed, games conducted and  new safety systems focused on customer safety.

More importantly, the inspection afforded the opportunity to discuss  future improvements, including proposed car park changes which will provide  improvement to the site in terms of safety.
