This book will provide help to residents of NSW in preparing the necessary documents to gain local government approval for a small feedlot, which is one with a capacity for 50 to 1000 head.

This publication comprises two parts:

  • Part A provides an overview of the approval process. It will help applicants to find the information they will need in order to prepare and submit an application for constructing a feedlot.
  • Part B provides a suggested format for the application. The format includes a number of appendices that contain the additional detail and technical material which underpins the issues covered by the Statement of Environmental Effects (SEE).
