This DVD documents the 'Pastures pay' project, initiated by NSW Agriculture (now NSW DPI) in 1992. Funded through the Grains Research and Development Corporation, the group-based program used innovative technology transfer methods to improve adoption of the pasture phase for farming systems in the 350-450 mm rainfall zone of south-western New South Wales.
By including farmer interviews, the DVD illustrates how the groups, in association with department extension staff, were able to pool experience and information to effectively face the challenge.
