Olive oil testing
NSW Department of Primary Industries operates an Olive Oil Testing Service based at Wagga Wagga, which aims to provide practical solutions for growers and processors in this fast-growing industry. The service is based on the latest technology and requirements of the International Olive Council (IOC).
Our chemical testing Laboratory and organoleptic (sensory) panel is accredited by the National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) and the International Olive Council (IOC). We also participate in proficiency tests conducted by international organisations such as the IOC and the American Oil Chemists Society (AOCS).
