Regulatory services

NSW Department of Primary Industries regulatory and compliance services focus on the enforcement of the Department's portfolio of legislation.
Regulatory activities impact on agriculture, mining, fishing, and use of state forests. These services support the continued health of primary industries in New South Wales and deliver significant benefits to the community.
To meet the many challenges of regulatory and compliance activity, NSW DPI works with industry to improve and adopt new technology and implement quality assurance and safety procedures. Regulatory and compliance services are strongly supported by the Department's research, analytical, diagnostic, extension and education services.
