Our services

Primex (formerly Agsell)

Primex is the international export marketing arm of NSW Department of Primary Industries, providing international access to the highest quality commodities of New South Wales. Primex works closely with local producers and international buyers to encourage partnerships in a broad range of commodities including:

  • fruit and vegetables
  • meat and animals
  • processed food and fibres
  • grains and pulses
  • seafood
  • forestry products

Primex activities are designed to optimise the benefits for producers and buyers of NSW products. Those activities include:

  • hosting international visits to NSW;
  • introducing market-ready producers and exporters to potential international buyers;
  • working with producer groups and exporters to develop products and skills suitable for target markets;
  • providing international market intelligence to local groups;
  • developing strong business and cultural links with overseas regions;
  • assisting in the development of local products to replace imports;
  • providing translator services for Mandarin business negotiations.
