Conservation farming case studies
On-ground implementation of conservation farming: an initiative of NSW DPI, the Central West CMA and the Central West Conservation Farming Association.
When adopting conservation farming practices a number of questions are raised by farmers. Questions generally focus on machinery requirements for crop establishement, stubble management and on the role of livestock in no-tillage systems. To help farmers answer these questions, NSW DPI in partnership with the Central West CMA and the Central West Conservation Farming Association have developed a series of case studies that demonstrate adoption of conservation farming practices for different farm businesses.
