Crop and pasture protection guides
Protecting crops and pastures against insect, weed and disease pests is a vital part of successful and profitable production.
Integrated pest management (IPM) is a system that utilises a range of tactics to reduce pest populations and maintain them below the economic threshold. Similarly, the key to successful control of weeds is an integrated weed management system combining all the available methods: crop rotation, haymaking or silage making, pasture management, good agronomic practices, timely cultivation, in-crop weed control, and managing herbicide resistance.
