Forest bluegrass

Name: Forest Bluegrass (Bothriochloa bladhii ssp glabra)
Description:

A perennial summer growing tussock grass suited to light textured, low fertility soils in summer rainfall area. It is drought hardy and moderately frost tolerant. It is susceptible to waterlogging and leaf rust and tolerant of heavy grazing.

Sowing rate: 2–4 kg/ha.
Minimum average
annual rainfall:
(summer dominant) 600 mm.
Variety: Swann (Progressive Seeds)
