Greenleaf desmodium

Name: Greenleaf Desmodium (Desmodium intortum)
Description: Perennial. Most growth in summer and autumn. Twining habit. Tolerates acid soils, but performs better on drained fertile soils. Tolerates waterlogging. Susceptible to frost. Does not tolerate continuous heavy grazing. Sow in spring to summer.
Sowing rate: dryland 0.5–1 kg/ha.
Minimum average
annual rainfall:
(summer dominant) 1100 mm.
