Name:

Hybrid disc medic (Medicago tornata, Medicago littoralis hybrid)

Description:

This is a hybrid between disc medic (Medicago tornata ) and strand medic (Medicago littoralis). Similar to disc medic in performance. It has been selected for neutral to alkaline sandy soils, especially deep sandy soil types. Early maturing. Usually used in mixtures. Resistant to blue green aphid. Minimum average annual rainfall for the variety.

3–8 kg/ha.
