Sulla

Name: Sulla (Hedysarum coronarium)
Description:

A short term cool season perennial. Suited to warm temperate, Mediterranean and subtropical climates with warm winters. It may be used as an alternate to lucerne in rotation. Adapted to neutral to alkaline soils. Is highly productive and suitable for forage, silage and hay.

Minimum average
annual rainfall:
400-800mm.
Variety:

Non bloating. May be useful to reduce ground water recharge.

Moonbi is a prostrate variety adapted to grazing Wilpena is more erect and adapted to silage and hay making.
