Chemicals approved by the APVMA for off-label use in ORNAMENTALS (non-bearing).
Effective to 31 October 2009.

7 day WHP for carnation.
Minimum 28 day re-treatment interval for carnation and chrysanthemum. Check for phytotoxicity. Permit effective to 30 September 2010.
  970g/kg 100g/100L HV(500-1000L), or
1.0kg/ha LV.		  
(2)dichlorvos 500g/L 100mL/100L QDPI Board Approval 70024, i.e. Qld only. For use when methamidophos causes unacceptable phytotoxicity.
Avermectin (0)abamectin 18g/L 50mL/100L PER10670; all states except Vic.
Vic: use allowed under state ‘control of use’ legislation.
Effective to 30 April 2011.
Spray to wet foliage to near the point of runoff.
Thorough coverage and penetration into plants is essential.
Observe the WFT Instecticide Management Strategy.
Do not apply more than two sprays per season.
Organochlorine (1)endosulfan 350g/L 190mL/100L PER10900. All states except Vic.
Vic: contact the Chemical Standards Branch, DNRE, Victoria.
Apply two consecutive sprays per crop only.
Do not apply to enclosed crops (e.g. polyhouse).
Effective to 31 October 2009.

Chemicals registered for use against thrips or western flower thrips in ORNAMENTALS
Spinosyn (3)spinosad 120g/L 80mL/100L, or
800mL/ha		 Success™ Naturalyte™ Insect Control. Do not allow livestock to graze crops, stubble or waste.
Organophosphate (1)methamidophos 580g/L 200mL/100L Nitofol® or Monitor™. 7 day WHP. Do not use in glasshouses or enclosed spaces. Check for phytotoxicity. Do not enter a treated area until spray is dry (unless wearing protective clothing).
(2)dichlorvos 500g/L 20mL/150m3 Vapona® 500,
David Gray’s DDVP® 500,
Barmac Dichlorvos® 500:
non-crop usage for greenhouse disinfestation only.
(2)dichlorvos 500g/L 15mL/100m3 Divap 500EC Insecticide,
Chemag Dichlorvos Insecticide,
Garrards DDVP 500EC:
non-crop usage for greenhouse disinfestation only.

Note for Victoria: Schedule 7 Poisons are ‘specified chemical products’ under Victoria’s control of use legislation. These products must be used in accordance with the approved label unless a permit has been issued by the Department of Natural Resources and Environment (DNRE), Victoria.
