Origin: From France.
Tree form: Medium, semi-spreading tree with dense twiggy head.
Pollination requirements: Mid–late season bloom; distinctive feature is calyx tube which is a constricted funnel shape; self-sterile; pollinated with Improved Foxwhelp, Yarlington and Sweet Coppin.
Fruit shape: Small, flat, conical fruit with a shallow closed eye basin; medium–long stalk in a shallow russeted basin.

flesh:
Striped blush over yellow skin.
Harvest period: Early harvest, giving a fairly good yield.
Uses: Sweet; produces a sweet cider.
