| Description | Leaf: large, shiny light green, slightly wavy edges. Shape: ovate, attenuate tip and rounded base. Margin: serrated, neat. Stipules: small, smooth margins, inconspicuous. Shoot: reddish green, straight. |
| Vigour | Medium, similar to M.7. |
| Propagation | Difficult. |
| Resistance | Considerable resistance to collar rot. Hardy. Susceptible to woolly aphid and fireblight. |
| Uses | Semi-intensive planting, not tested in Australia. |
