Technical review of the import risk analysis for the importation of New Zealand apples

This document is a review that was conducted at the  request of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry – Australia. The review was prepared by a team of scientific experts to examine the proposed basis for the importation of apples from New Zealand. The team considered approximately 400 insect and disease species, and the management protocols designed to reduce the risk of importing these into Australia.The pests and diseases and their risks are presented in tabular form.
