Description Obtain minor use permits for pesticide uses in onion crops
Activities & Outcomes Compile industry priorities for pesticide permits.

The herbicide pendimethalin identified as the number one priority, used for the control of wireweed.

Trial work to determine efficacy, phytotoxicity and residue data for pendimethalin use in onion crops.

Field days and presentations to the Australian Onion Industry Association (AOIA) to demonstrate progress.

Permit, then registration obtained for pendimethalin use in onions.

Work to obtain permits for other prority chemicals.
