Description Develop an integrated pest management program for field grown lettuce.
Activities & Outcomes Survey insect pest management practices in Australia.

Develop a ute-guide covering pests, diseases, beneficial insects, nutritional disorders,crop monitoring & spray application guidelines.

Field trials of new generation chemistry and biological control agents for registration.

Best management option (BMO) trials to determine the best pest management strategies

Extension of current and previous research results to industry through "Lettuce leaf " newsletters, National lettuce conferences and pest, disease and crop monitoring workshops.

Host the second & third national lettuce conferences.
