Three ticks of concern to NSW stockowners

The three tick species of main concern to NSW stockowners are the bush tick, the paralysis tick and the cattle tick. All three ticks can cause serious economic damage to beef and dairy production. They are found mainly on the coast of NSW, and particularly favour the warmer climate further north.
