OJD information and support services

Ovine Johne’s Disease (OJD) can have a significant impact on a sheep flock, even though mortality rates may not be high.
Are you affected by OJD, either because it is present in your flock or you are concerned that it might be? If so, then perhaps you would like to speak to a Technical or Flock Management Advisor, a Rural Financial Counsellor, or another support service.
If you know of any friends or neighbours who may be concerned about OJD, then please pass this information to them:

- Rural Lands Protection Board District Veterinarian;
- SheepMAP approved veterinary practitioner; or
- DPI Veterinarians
For flock management options, contact:
- your DPI District Livestock Officer (Sheep and Wool); or
- your Agricultural Consultant.
