Adherance to these guidelines was vital during the 2007/08 Equine Influenza (EI) outbreak.

These guidelines will remain here as examples of thorough biosecurity practices until replacement guidelines are written.

These guidelines are for persons visiting a horse property. They provide information about:

  • when you must disinfect and
  • step-by-step guidelines for disinfecting your body, clothes and any objects that have touched horses.
