Name: Talish clover (Trifolium tumens)
Description:

A deep-rooted stoloniferous or tap-rooted perennial legume with dense prostrate growth habit well suitable for use in long-term pasture mixes in soils with pH (Ca) of 4.8 to 8.5.

It has good seedling vigour. Growing points are located below the ground, so once established, Talish clover will tolerate persistent close grazing. Talish clover also has excellent cold tolerance. Talish clover is best sown in early to mid autumn.

Sowing rate 3-6 kg/ha in a mix with perennial grasses such as cocksfoot, tall fescue or phalaris. Group C or Group O.

annual rainfall:
300 mm, in areas with mild summers.
