Weeds Officers employed by the local control authority, their local Council, perform a vital role in the management of noxious and environmental weeds as required by the Noxious Weeds Act 1993. This manual aims to assist new Weeds Officers in their role and responsibilities in order to form an improved relationship with land owners and managers in their local area.

This manual was developed by Weeds Officers for Weeds Officers. Suggested procedures and protocol have been provided to help you conduct productive property inspections.
