Name:	Conservation farming
Description:	A course designed for farmers who have an interest in conservation farming.
Cost:	After NSW Government subsidy $360 GST free.
Course aims:	A course to provide growers and extension practitioners with the necessary skills, knowledge and resources to effectively get conservation farming practices right, across NSW.
Learning outcomes:	To help make informed decisions about machinery required for conservation farming. To help improve conservation farming practices. To help understand the physical, chemical and biological aspect associated with soil, as the natural resource base. To help understand the management aspects required with alternative crops like pulses, canola etc.
Length:	1 day
Course program/structure:
Resources and method of delivery:	Participants receive course notes and manual. This course is delivered using indoor and out door instruction.
Accreditation:	This course has been mapped to the national unit of competency RTE5524A
