To assist participants to make informed decisions regarding drought recovery through developing management strategies such as grazing and livestock recovery plans. |

- Awareness of livestock health issues.
- Knowledge of the potential long term impacts of reduced stock numbers and assess strategies to manage.

- Management of remaining pastures.
- Re-establishment of new pastures.
- Fodder conservation strategies.
- Activity session highlighting the dollar impact of reduced stock numbers.
- Demonstrate Im (decision support tool).
- Develop a livestock recovery plan.
- Discuss issues raised by landholders.

Participants are provided with course notes, a DPI Drought recovery guide, and various handouts. This course is delivered using indoor and out door instruction. |
