Name:	The farmers guide to managing climate risk
Description:	This workshop if primarily for farmers and graziers, but can be tailored to any land managers who are interested in understanding weather and climate and managing risk.
Cost:	$260 This course is registered under the Commonwealth Government's FarmReady program. Eligible primary producers can be reimbursed for the cost of this course. See the FarmReady website for more details.
Course aims:	To help farmers reduce risk by allowing them to monitor and effectively incorporate weather and climate information into their decision making.
Learning outcomes:	understand how weather works read and interpret weather maps analyse local and regional climate history examine the relevance of seasonal influences use forecasts for practical decisions discover where to find weather and climate information manage climate risk.
