- read and interpret manufacturers' pump curves
- determine the operating efficiency of a pump
- calculate the power requirements of an irrigation pump
- calculate the operating costs of a pump
- describe the common types of pumps used in irrigation systems
- describe installation, maintenance and troubleshooting procedures for pumps
- demonstrate the ability to communicate irrigation system requirements to a supplier or service industry representative.
