Description: This course will provide managers of leading commercial beef breeding enterprises with the latest results from over 10 years of research from the Beef CRC into maternal performance and lifetime reproduction.

This course aims to provide participants with:

  • the latest results from research into maternal performance and lifetime reproduction
  • the knowledge and skills to assess livestock in aspects vital to management of a breeding program
  • a platform to improve and develop a breeding program to suit the needs and requirements of the business.

  • assess breeding requirements
  • select livestock for breeding
  • monitor breeding performance and programs
  • evaluate breeding programs
