Name:	Dairy people focus groups - one day course
Description:	The aim of the one day course is to introduce farmers and interested advisors to the people in Dairy approach and principles and present the suite of online resources available. The one day course will be an introduction to the more intensive three day course and will outline how participating in this course can develop a people action plan for your dairy farm business.
Cost:	After NSW Government subsidy $195 GST incl. Eligible candidates will also receive Dairy Australia support for this program.
Course aims:	Engage farmers in groups and workshops in conversations about the people issues on their farms Introduce the online resources and the three day course
Learning outcomes:	Understand the process of developing a people action plan for your business Become familiar with the online resources Understand the issues around people on farms Understand the principles of working with people on dairy farms
Length:	A 1 day course with a further requirement to complete project and on the job assessment work to meet requirements of competencies.
Course program/structure:	Introduction of participants Introduction of the three principles of The People in Dairy Introduction of the People Focus Group Process On line resources video and discussions The "People Snap Shot" and further analyses Follow up and discussion about the three day program and possibilities
Resources and method of delivery:	Participants are provided with course notes. This course is delivered using indoor instruction.
Accreditation:	This course has been mapped to the national unit of competency RTE5807A Manage staff.
