- Develop a breeding objective that will maximise sheep profitability

Day 1

- The Dohne Breeding System in Australia
- Dohne Pedigree (Mating and Birth) recording
- The Breeding Objective
- Dohne Standards. Practical demonstration in the yards
- Genetic principles and breeding methods
- Lamb inspection - 2 practical exercises
- Written evaluation - Breeding Objective & Pedigree recording
Day 2

Performance (100 and 365 day) recording
- Reports & Transfers
- Ewe Inspection - 2 practical exercises
- Ewe Inspection continued
- Ram inspection and selection - 2 practical exercises
- The Foundation Flock Register
- Written evaluation - Foundation Flock
- Ram selection - combined performance and visual criteria
Day 3
- Dohne Genetic Evaluation and discussion
- Written evaluation - 100 & 365 recording, reports & evaluations
- Practical evaluation - Ewes
- Practical evaluation - Rams
- Feedback and Discussion
