|Description:||This course is run in the field and provides skills for participants to assess pasture characteristics influencing pasture and animal production and to develop pasture and livestock management plans.|

This practical workshop series is mainly delivered on farms.
This course is mapped to the following national unit of competency, AHCLSK402A - Develop livestock feeding plans.
Meat and Livestock Australia were involved in the development of this course.

The Introduction Day will begin at 9.30am. Morning tea and lunch will be provided. The NW Local Land Services is contributing $290 towards the course fee and all participants have to pay is $400.00 gst free per farm enterprise. Two people from a farm enterprise are able to attend the course.
The course really taught us to eyeball and assess, very accurately, the amount of feed we had.
