| Description: | The Vertebrate Pest Management Course is a training course that provides entry level training in vertebrate pest management for both agricultural protection and conservation. This course enables participants to understand vertebrate pest ecology (the animal's biology, behaviour and effective control techniques), monitoring and animal trapping techniques, how to define the pest problem and develop effective management plans. |

During the week participants work individually and in groups to broaden their understanding of vertebrate pest management in a theoretical and practical sense through case studies, verbal and practical instruction and on-ground activities. |

Participants receive course notes and manual.
Participants receive a variety of resources including course manual, vertebrate pest animal monitoring books and assessment material. This course is delivered using both indoor and outdoor instruction. |
