Name:	Wean more lambs
Description:	A workshop for sheep producers who want to improve the reproduction rate of their flock.
Cost:	After NSW Government subsidy, $250 incl. GST.
Course aims:	To assist participants set flock reproduction targets and develop an annual program to wean more lambs for breeding or sale.
Learning outcomes:	Determine the value of improving reproduction rates in the sheep enterprise Identify important flock nutrition and reproduction targets Benchmark your flock's reproductive performance and establish future targets Develop new skills including fat scoring, checking ram health and 'wet and drying' ewes Understand which factors contribute to reproductive wastage in sheep flocks Develop an annual calendar of activities to integrate nutrition and reproductive targets

Resources and method of delivery:	Participants are provided with a workshop manual. This workshop is delivered on farm in the shearing shed with demonstrations conducted in the sheep yards.
Accreditation:	This course covers elements of the national unit of competency, RTE5103A - Manage livestock production. This course is delivered in partnership with Meat and Livestock Australia.
