Namoi Climate Change Forums

On 21 and 22 March 2007, NSW DPI and the Namoi Catchment Management Authority staged two regional climate change forums in Narrabri and Tamworth, as part of a series of events being staged around the state in 2007.

These forums, entitled 'Climate change and agriculture - impacts and adaptation in the Namoi Catchment', attracted almost 200 people from across the region, and featured an impressive line-up of experts in climate sciences, natural resource management, insurance, and a range of primary industries. The Cotton Communities CRC also provided sponsorship for the Narrabri event, and coordinated a workshop in the afternoon sessions.

Those who attended complimented the speakers for the high standard of information presented, and many people requested copies of the material. NSW DPI is pleased to make presentations from both the Narrabri and Tamworth events available here for download. They are in PDF format, and to download them requires Adobe Acrobat Reader.
