Soil Health and fertility

Soil erosion projects completed in the NSW Northern Rivers during 2007/08

cover

Soil Erosion Solutions (SES) supports work to repair, reduce and prevent soil erosion on agricultural land in the NSW Northern Rivers region.

SES is funded by Northern Rivers Catchment Management Authority and delivered by NSW Department of Primary Industries (NSW DPI) and Landcare. Technical panels assess applications from landholders and NSW DPI and Landcare work with successful applicants to finalise technically sound project plans. Landholders do the onground works.

We are pleased to make available below the soil erosion projects completed in the NSW Northern Rivers during 2007/08. Each download provides background to the issue on site, details or the work undertaken, costs involved, benefits gained, and feedback from the landholder.

The SES is available to download in full and/or as individual projects.

For more information about Soil Erosion Solutions contact Abigail Jenkins at NSW DPI on (02) 6626 1357 or abigail.jenkins@dpi.nsw.gov.au.
