Agfact graphic
Series: Agfact AC.29  Edition: First edition  Last updated: 01 Oct 2004

This Agfact suggests guidelines for managing soils, fertilisers and soil amendments to minimise detrimental environmental effects.

It also looks at what happens to nutrients when they are applied to the soil and what fertilisers and soil amendments do to the environment if they are used excessively or incorrectly. It examines heavy metal contaminants of fertilisers and soil amendments and their potential environmental impact.
