Diagnosis
Serology, bacteriology for detection of carriers.
Specimens required
- For an initial flock test, submit fresh (not frozen) sera from every bird, individually identified.
- To check reactors to the field test, submit fresh sera clearly identified to individual birds.
- To confirm reactors, submit live or freshly humanely killed birds (clearly identified) for bacteriology.
