Gross pathology, histopathology, serology.
Specimens required
- Whole birds, for gross and histopathology.
- The following tissues fixed in buffered formalin: liver, spleen, kidney, heart, ovary/testicle, proventriculus, gizzard, sciatic nerves, brain, bursa (if present), tumours (if present).
- Sera, for serology.
