Pesticides - a guide to their effects on honey bees

Summary

Beekeeping management practices require beekeepers to maintain high populations of bees in their hives, have their bees on a honey-producing crop, or have their apiaries in particular areas for pollination purposes. As a result there will be periods of time when foraging honey bees will be at risk of damage from pesticides.
