Host testing on Melaleuca alternifolia

These plants were inoculated with Myrtle Rust under controlled environment conditions in a quarantine facility and thus may not represent what may develop in the field. Melaleuca alternifolia is not a known host of Myrtle Rust in the environment.

The photos in this section are by Dr Louise Morin under a research project funded by the National Management Group.
