Hunter & Central Coast Sustainable Aquaculture Strategy

The Hunter & Central Coast Sustainable Aquaculture Strategy was developed to ensure land-based aquaculture facilities in the region are developed and operated in an ecologically sustainable and responsible manner.
It will help identify suitable land-based sites for aquaculture in the Hunter and Central Coast region.
The strategy is a whole of government approach to streamline approval processes for developers interested in becoming involved in this fast growing aquaculture industry.
Copies of the Hunter and Central Coast Sustainable Aquaculture Strategy are available from NSW DPI, Taylors Beach (02 4916 3919) at a cost of $65:00 for hardcopies and $10:00 for an interactive CD versions (both prices include GST and postage). Cheques should be made out to NSW Department of Primary Industries and posted to NSW Department of Primary Industries, Aquaculture Management, Locked Bag 1, Nelson Bay NSW 2315 along with your postal details.
