Mussel aquaculture in Twofold Bay
Twofold Bay has proven to be a significant area in NSW for the production of the blue mussel, Mytilus edulis. Investigations into the culture of mussels first commenced in Twofold Bay in the 1970’s. This report covers Stage 1 Review Report and Determination of Progression to Stage 2, prepared in accordance with the Mussel Aquaculture in Twofold Bay Determination dated 1998.
