FishOnline

The program which is scheduled to run from 2009/10 to 2012/13 aims to:
- Support revised management arrangements arising from the ‘Pyrmont Pact’ structural adjustment program;
- Enable and support streamlined administrative arrangements;
- Implement more effective compliance arrangements; and
- Provide improved service delivery to the commercial fishing industry.
Version 1 of the FishOnline system has been completed and the externally-facing FisherDirect web portal is expected to begin pilot processing with commercial fishing stakeholders in September 2011. It will then be progressively rolled out across the industry from November 2011 supported by a comprehensive Change Management Program.
The purpose of this webpage is to provide information on the project and its progress to interested stakeholders.
