Fishers for fish habitat forums 2012
Following the successes of the Fishers for Fish Habitat Forums in 2009 (Ballina), 2010 (Lake Macquarie) and 2011 (Tamworth), in 2012 the F4FH message is going local.
In 2012 there will be 9 F4FH mini-forums held across NSW, 7 along the coast and 2 inland. Each of these events provides an opportunity for local fishers to hear from other fishers about things they are doing to improve fish habitat in their area, talk with staff from Fisheries NSW about their ideas, highlight local habitat hotspots - both good and bad, and find out how to get involved.
Each mini-forum will last about 3 hours and include some light refreshment. These events are free to recreational fishers, so come along and meet some other people who are interested in making more fish, naturally.
