Recreational Fishing Photo Competition instructions and conditions of entry
- Entry is open to all residents of Australia except employees of NSW DPI and their immediate families.
- Entry is free and there is no limit to the number of entries.
- By submitting an entry to the Recreational Fishing Photo Competition each entrant agrees to: -
- a) assign all intellectual and property rights in each photo to NSW DPI (photographs will not be returned unless specifically requested); and
- b) allow the photo(s) to be used for any purpose, including publication in NSW DPI publications and on the internet.
- Entrants must have taken and own all rights to each photo entered. It is the responsibility of each entrant to make sure that the use or publication by NSW DPI of any photo entered in the Recreational Fishing Photo Competition will not give rise to any claim, demand, action, suit or proceedings. Entries without an accompanying entry form will not be considered. * A photograph release entry form is set out below.
- Entries from persons under the age of 18 must have adult consent. If the winner is under the age of 18 the prize will be awarded to a parent or guardian.
- Any persons included in the photographic image must have consented to the photograph and any subsequent use of the photograph. By entering the photograph the entrant warrants that the consent of all persons depicted in the photograph(s) has been obtained.
- The winner will be the entry judged by NSW DPI Judging Panel. Photos will be judged on the relationship to recreational fishing, composition and originality.
- The competition will close at 5pm on the 31st of July 2012 and winners will be notified as soon as winners are selected by the Judging Panel.
- The winners will be notified by phone and mail and the winner’s name and winning photo will be published in the next edition of Recreational Fishing Calendar. The Judging Panel’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- The prize is not redeemable for cash.
- NSW DPI will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered, including but not limited to direct or consequential loss, or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the prize.
