Scientific name - Notopala sublineata

Distribution - River snail Notopala sublineata are endemic to the Murray/Darling Basin. The species is now restricted to a few populations in irrigation pipes near Mildura but were once common and widely distributed throughout the basin where it was found along the river banks attached to logs and rocks or crawling in the mud.

Size - They can grow to about 2.5 - 3.0cm.

Confusing species - Notopala suprafasciata.
